At Baltic Wharf, we provide a flexible and practical lifting out and launching service for vessels of many different types.
Our various units of lifting plant allow us a great deal of flexibility when launching and recovering vessels. Whether you are coming ashore for maintenance, storage, inspection or repair work, our experienced team is here to help make the process as straightforward as possible.
Our yard staff are friendly, helpful and experienced in all aspects of boat handling, giving customers confidence when bringing their vessel ashore or preparing to get back on the water.
Lifting Out & Launching
Boat handling requires care, experience and the right equipment. Our lifting equipment allows us to launch, recover and move vessels safely and efficiently around the site.
As with all lifting equipment, our hoist and crane have their limits. However, we are always happy to discuss your requirements and advise on the most suitable option for your vessel.
If a larger crane is required, we can arrange for one to be contracted on site where necessary.
Mast Lifts
Our mobile crane allows access to the whole site for mast un-stepping, re-stepping and other similar lifts.
Lifts and cranage rates vary depending on rig reconfiguration and size, so please contact the office to discuss your particular requirements before booking.

Engine Lifts
We can also assist with engine lifts at Baltic Wharf.
Once fully disconnected, we can lift out engines, gear boxes, fuel tanks and similar items. This can be useful for repair work, replacement, servicing access or larger maintenance projects.
