Boat handling
Our various units of lifting plant allow us a great deal of flexibility when launching and recovering vessels of any kind. The yard staff are friendly and helpful as well as being experienced in all aspects of boat handling.
As with all lifting equipment, our hoists and crane have their limits – the blue sling hoist is rated to a SWL of 16 metric tonnes, the red/yellow Roodberg boat mover is rated to a SWL of 23 metric tonnes - we are always happy to contract a larger crane on site if necessary. Please contact us directly to discuss your requirements.
We offer the slipway for self launch of your trailer sailer, rib or day boat and can assist with or carry out the launch at your request. There is plenty of space within the yard to park your vehicle and trailer in a secure environment whilst you are boating.
